Parking Garage Scam - Part 2
NAHN GETS ALMOST $1 MILLION FOR ITS $10-15K PARKING “DECK”

II-In 2005 NAHN pays $139K for Phoenix Bldg. (including parking garage/structure in back).  

II-Garage “share” of $139K is about $30K [NAHN “values” garage at $45K (see p.1 of proofs).]

II- “Deck” is top 1/3 of Phoenix “garage” (aka “Warehouse”)-for a $10K “cost” & a $15K** “value”. [IT HAS 18 PARKING SPOTS, Non-USABLE DUE TO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE.]

III-In 2015/16 (on into 2019) NAHN claims it will face HUGE damages to its Phoenix Building (including sidewalk AND garage/” warehouse”) from construction of BSB municipal garage. 

IV-In 2016 (and in 2019 BY DAVE PALMER), BSB/URA give NAHN a contract agreeing to pay all these various (supposed) “damages”. (see pp.2-9 of proofs)

V-NAHN GETS ALMOST $1M (mostly for its $10K “deck”):
a) Permanent easement to its “deck” (p.2)
b) $350K “repair” of “parking deck” (** cost=$10K, value=15K**) (p.4).
c) Sidewalk “repair” (now $450K for a redo of already redone sidewalks) (p.5)
d) $64K (to NAHN) to “move” HABITAT’s store ($6K goods/$1K move). (p.5)
e) 30 temp. parking spots/25 permanent spots in BSB municipal garage. (p.6-7)
f) REPRESENTATION of “no conflicted” BSB/URA employee (p.7-see part1).
g) ALL AGREED TO BY DAVE PALMER-WHO KNEW TRUE FACTS (p.8-9)

I-OMG-is this for real? 
YES IT IS.

II-NO WONDER WE PAIDS $8M FOR A $5M GARAGE! –

THIS NEARLY $1MILLION IS ON TOP OF SLETTEN’S $8M GARAGE CONTRACT.

III-IS THIS IT FOR HERE?

NO…IT GETS WORSE (but no more room to post here just now)
 
a) From 2005-2013 NAHN GOT $273K FOR “50% reimbursement of $540K in “completed work” at Phoenix garage (aka “warehouse). 
  
b) If you look at p.1 of proofs, you will see that (in NAHN’s 2013 app to URA for $800K to complete 8 housing units on 3rd floor of Phoenix Bldg. THAT DO NOT EXIST) they brag about all the work they did 2004-2012. AT LINE 3 YOU SEE ONLY $14.5K SPENT ON GARAGE/WAREHOUSE.
  
c) In other words, they should only have gotten $7.25K (50% of ACTUAL work). THEY OWE US $263K BACK. [N.B. In 2018 I BEGGED Dave Palmer (and Council & Eileen Joyce) to demand the $263K back…to use to save EVEL DAYS (which needed $250K). 
  
d) He (& they) have refused for 2 years to even send a LETTER asking for the money back (or proof they spent it on other work-though that’s illegal “misapplication”).
  
e) WANT MORE?-Karen Byrnes/URA have also spent (without permission of Council/Dave Palmer) ANOTHER $30-80K trying to restore access to NAHN’s 18 parking spots on the “deck” (for which they have been paid HUGE sums for the loss of).They had to abandon this…not because it was illegal or because it was ON TOP OF all that other money. 
  
f) No, it was because the Phoenix garage below cannot support the weight (because they did NOT do the $540K work they claimed (just $14K)—which would have repaired the structural support below.
   
g) WANT EVEN MORE? -NAHN only “lost” 18 parking spots NO LONGER USABLE FOR PARKING. The other 2 parking levels (2/3 of the total, or cost $20K and “value” $30K) ARE still usable for parking use. And all 3 levels ARE usable for storage, and top deck IS BEING USED (and grants paid) for garden, outdoor display space, art shows, etc.
  
h) AGAIN, THIS ALONE IS A SCAM ON A SCAM ON A SCAM.
